The day of traveling to FUDCon is really pretty boring to read about. I mean, who really wants to read about me walking through airports, getting annoyed at old people that insist on carrying on bags they can't even pick up and put in the overhead bin, and having to go to the bathroom as soon as the plane takes off? Nobody, right? Good. We'll skip all that and get to the part where I actually spoke to people instead of standing in the corner like the scary lumberjack guy with a look that said "I don't know you, go away."
Spot arrived at the airport to pick up about 12 of us in a rather large van, which was of course immediately dubbed the FUDBus. We piled in and headed off to the hotel. Once we arrived, I met up with Dave Jones and we proceeded directly to the pre-FUDCon "bar"camp. Much good discussion was had about all kinds of kernel related things. A bit later Dan Walsh and Eric Paris joined us, then Nathaniel McCallum. As usual, it was great to put some faces to names and then I crashed.
